Nicole Seils is a senior executive leader with three decades of experience across the public and private sectors in Australia, APAC, and the USA. She has held senior roles with Fortune 500 companies, advised Cabinet Ministers, and directed multi-billion-dollar reforms in defence, space, cyber, and health. Recognised for her ability to deliver results in complex global environments, Nicole combines a wealth of legal, policy, and reform campaign expertise with commercial acumen and governance capability.
She has served as Head of Government Relations at Lockheed Martin Australia & New Zealand and Northrop Grumman Australia, Deputy Director-General of Innovation at ACT Health, and as Chief of Staff and adviser to senior government ministers. Nicole is a GAICD-qualified board director and has contributed to global forums including the UN General Assembly and the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs.
A co-founder of the Women in Defence and Security Policy Forum, Nicole is committed to advancing gender equity in industries traditionally dominated by men, and has mentored emerging leaders in defence, deep tech, and aerospace. She is also Chair of the AMCHAM Space Committee and a current finalist in the 2026 Australian Space Awards for – Female Space Leader of the Year as well as past finalist in the 2024 ADM Women in Defence Awards – Executive Management Category.
