Stefanee joined Google in September 2019 as the Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Google Cloud, leading the engagement on policy issues relevant to Google's cloud business in Australia/New Zealand and issues relevant to Google's cloud customers. Stefanee was recently appointed Director, Government Affairs and Public Policy for Google’s operations across AUNZ, leading a team responsible for Google’s policy and regulatory issues and relationships with key stakeholders across government.  

Stefanee has 20 years' experience in public and corporate affairs, having worked in both the public (antitrust/competition regulator) and private sectors (global corporate, consultancy and trade associations) and as a senior political staffer (former chief of staff to a cabinet minister and senior adviser to a prime minister).  

She is a passionate advocate for promoting women in business and leadership, and advocating on the benefits of technology. Stefanee holds a Master of Laws (ANU), Bachelor of Applied Economics/Laws (UC) and is a Graduate of the AICD.
