Ingrid Dalh-Madsen is a Danish diplomat with a long career spanning foreign affairs, crisis management, economic diplomacy, and sustainable development. She currently serves as the Danish Ambassador to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.

Ingrid has held several leadership roles within the Danish Foreign Ministry, including Deputy Head of Mission in Thailand and Head of Mission in Nepal, where she demonstrated her expertise in renewable energy, crisis preparedness, and multilateral negotiations. Before joining the Danish Foreign Service, she gained valuable private-sector experience in international banking.

Ingrid holds a Master's Degree in Culture, Communication, and Globalisation from Aalborg University, a Bachelor's Degree in English-Spanish International Market Communication from Aarhus University, and has completed the Oxford Executive Leadership Program as Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Fluent in Danish, English, and Spanish, Ingrid's multicultural upbringing, with a Danish father and a Singaporean mother, has shaped her international perspective. She is also the author of Global Warming, the US and China: An Analysis of US and Chinese Behaviour in the Climate Change Debate and Possible Scenarios for their Future Behaviour.

Ingrid is married to Jan, and together they are proud parents of two daughters, Alma and Olivia.
