Greta is the First Assistant Secretary, Counter Foreign Interference, Cyber and Technology Division at the Department of Home Affairs. The Division brings together 
counter‑foreign‑interference policy and partnerships, national cyber security policy and programs, and technology and data security policy to address risks to, through and from technology across the economy.

Before joining Home Affairs, Greta led the Social Policy Division in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, advising on a range of social policy issues including education, employment, disability reform, social security, immigration, veterans’ affairs and First Nations policy.

Greta has previously worked at the Department of Social Services, the Department of Education and the Department of Finance including leading on early childhood education and care, higher education, international education, children’s policy and family safety policy and programs. Greta received a Public Service Medal in the 2023 Kings Birthday honours list for service to women’s safety policy and programs.
